As a certified safety professional (CSP), O’Connell provides guidance to the legal sector (lawyers and other legal practitioners), insurance industry, construction, high-tech, manufacturing, and heavy commercial trucking.

As a peer-reviewed and published author Mr. O’Connell provides specialty presentations to national safety and health organizations since 1999. 

Daniel conducts post incident investigation, hazard evaluation and analysis, and regulatory compliance reviews of projects, worksites, confined spaces, transportation, physical structures and property throughout North America.

Construction project experience: Heavy civil, underground, tunnel, vertical office towers, commercial parking structures, residential, public works, educational facilities, and high-tech building projects. Daniel has conducted onsite safety and health compliance inspections and/or investigated more than 5,000 properties in the State of California. As a certified safety professional (CSP), he has worked daily in conjunction with Civil Engineers, Project Managers, Fleet Safety Specialists, Architects, General Contractors, licensed Geotechnical and Structural Engineers, Materials Science Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Safety and Building Inspectors.

High-Tech, GISO, Semiconductor-Biopharm: 
California based Silicon Valley operations involving semiconductor, process laboratory, high-tech, biopharmaceutical, manufacturing, food production, and general industry.

Heavy trucking / Fleet Safety: 
We serve operations with over-the-road tractor-trailers, fleet defensive driver, DOT safety management, flatbed cargo, extralegal transport (heavy haul), tank-truck vehicles, construction materials transport, hazardous materials, military freight, ordnance, cargo and load securement, driver training, fitness for duty evaluations, and DOT/ OSHA compliance.
